BOSTON -- September 13, 2018 -- Today in Boston, customers and partners of CloudHealth Technologies -- provider of the most trusted cloud management platform -- are gathering for the final day of the company’s first annual user conference, CloudHealth Connect18.
“The Connect18 agenda was designed to make an impact,” said Melodye Mueller, VP of Marketing at CloudHealth Technologies. “We’ve focused on giving our customers and partners the opportunity to leverage and benefit from talks led by cloud computing visionaries, while being able to participate in important training sessions and group discussions. Our goal is for every attendee to leave with actionable takeaways that accelerate their business transformation in the cloud and drive success across the organization.”
The CloudHealth Customer Advisory Board, which includes IT and finance leaders from more than 30 companies and three continents, provides a forum for honest feedback that helps inform the strategic direction of the CloudHealth platform. During closed-door sessions, members share product insight directly with CloudHealth marketing, product and engineering teams, while engaging in discussions about key business goals and technology needs. While the group meets regularly, Connect18 has given board members the opportunity to share their views in person.
In addition, Connect18 marks the first ever meeting of the CloudHealth Partner Advisory Board. This group of leading Managed Service Providers (MSPs) has been established to discuss trends in cloud management and enhance the value of the CloudHealth Partner Platform and the partner program. Driven by the company’s strong partner focus and the growth of its global channel program, the Partner Advisory Board includes 30 executives from across the Americas, Asia-Pacific and Europe.
The Partner Advisory Board is reflective of the broader Connect18 agenda, which has attracted partners from eight countries and features cloud service offerings from sponsors SHI, Logicworks and Groupware.
Connect18 has also featured some of the industry’s top thought leaders, technology gurus and cloud visionaries. Attendees have been able to learn from Forrester analyst Dave Bartoletti, who gave a session entitled “Need For Speed: Deliver the Multi-Cloud Your Business Demands”; author and futurist Tom Koulopoulos, delivering a keynote and signing copies of his book, “Cloud Surfing”; as well as individuals from VMware, AWS, Infor, Cox Automotive, Zendesk, Intuit, ParkMyCloud, Robert Half, StepStone, Salesforce, and Acquia.
Throughout the event, speakers have been sharing cloud best practices, while offering real-world lessons learned about everything from cost management to business innovation.
During the opening general session, Tom Axbey, CEO of CloudHealth Technologies, will be joined by CTO and Founder Joe Kinsella and VP of Product John Purcell to share insight into what lies ahead for both the CloudHealth platform and the industry as a whole. Recent feature highlights include the release of the EC2 Convertible Reserved Instance (RI) Exchanger, which eliminates the complexity of the exchange process for users of Convertible RIs. Also, CloudHealth is providing a new, automated report that pulls granular information about cost and usage into one place, allowing customers to close their books quickly and accurately. The single report easily processes AWS bills, bringing processing time down from days to minutes.
Connect18 attendees have also been given the opportunity to make their technical skillset official by achieving their CloudHealth Certification, which demonstrates an individual’s deep level of platform knowledge. Further, for those looking to increase their platform knowledge, the event has also offered training sessions covering a variety of topics, from cost and usage reporting to RI management, policies and automation, amortization and reallocation, and more.
