Forrester Unveils Study Findings in New Report, “State of the Cloud for MSPs”

 

BOSTON -- September 25, 2019 -- Today cloud leaders and innovators from around the world are gathered in Boston to kick off the second annual CloudLIVE conference, hosted by CloudHealth by VMware. Continuing the conversation from VMworld 2019, the event will highlight strategies for battling multicloud complexity and harnessing the power of the cloud to drive innovation and business growth.

 

With an agenda built to showcase end user perspectives, CloudLIVE session content is designed to uncover best practices and actionable takeaways. Over the next two days, mainstage and breakout track sessions will feature a broad range of speakers and presentation topics related to cost optimization, security and governance, and multicloud management. Guest speakers include:

 

  • Sanjay Poonen, COO of VMware. Poonen will deliver a keynote discussing some of the major factors disrupting the world of IT, and stories of how leading enterprises are tackling common cloud challenges.
  • Michelle McKenna, CIO of the NFL. McKenna will discuss how she is spearheading a digital revolution for the NFL, where she oversees technology strategy, shared service delivery, and management of the league’s technology activities.
  • Lauren Nelson, Principal Analyst at Forrester. Nelson will talk about how to achieve a multicloud management strategy that is effective, rapid, and scalable.

 

Customers from Robert Half, Vanguard, ClickSoftware, Cox Automotive, Turner Broadcasting, Verizon, Zipwhip, and Intuit will also take the stage to share strategies for success. From building a Cloud Center of Excellence to managing multicloud cost and security at scale, speakers will present tips, tricks, and best practices gleaned from their own real-world experiences at industry-leading companies.

 

A new breakout track designed specifically for MSPs will focus on best practices for enhancing managed service offerings and tactics for boosting growth and profitability. Track speakers include CloudHealth Partner Platform subject matter experts and CloudHealth partners such as Groupware Technology, FutureProof, and Softcat.

 

In addition, Forrester analyst Jay McBain will present key findings from an expansive study on how MSPs are transforming into cloud-driven organizations. The report, commissioned by CloudHealth by VMware, is entitled, “State of the Cloud for MSPs” and is available for download here.
