Cloud analytics startup CloudHealth Technologies raises 3.2M, plans to hire and expand

CloudHealth Technologies, a Boston-based cloud analytics software-as-a-service company, announced Tuesday it has raised $3.2 million in funding from existing Boston investors Sigma Prime Ventures and .406 Ventures.

The new investment brings the startup's total funding to $7.7 million since March 2013, and the recent money will be used to make new hires and new product enhancements, said CEO Dan Phillips. CloudHealth currently has 22 employees who work out of a 2,700-square-foot office in the Seaport District in Boston. By the end of the year, the startup plans to increase its headcount to about 30.
