We’re just two weeks away from the start of VMworld US 2019 and it’s time to start building your session agenda, signing up for learning labs and workshops, and thinking about what types of VMware certifications you should take advantage of while you’re at the show.

Take advantage of the hands-on learning labs

Throughout the show, the VMware team will be offering hands-on labs to help attendees practice their skills, collaborate directly with VMware product experts (be sure to bring along your most difficult technical questions!), and be the first to try new lab content before it becomes generally available online. There are four types of learning labs available to attendees:

  1. Self-paced labs: Interact with the latest VMware products at your own pace, with product experts in the room ready to assist you if need be. These flexible labs offer 15 to 60-minute consumable modules that you can take incrementally throughout the week.
  2. Expert-led workshops: These sessions are presented by the VMware product experts who develop lab content, creating an engaging and instructional environment. These workshops require advanced sign-up (register here).
  3. Lab tours: These 30-minute tours provide an awesome behind-the-scenes peek at what it takes to run one of the VMware labs. Meet with lab creators and engineers to learn more about VMware products and solutions.
  4. Hands-on labs connect: Check into labs, chat with other attendees, participate in pop-up discussions, and earn CloudCred points for visiting.

Walk away trained and certified

Build the skills and experience you need to design, deploy, and operate your VMware platform. The VMworld training and certification program enables you to realize the full value from your VMware investments—while helping you to evolve your organization and career.

With training and certification, you can boost your skills on the latest VMware technologies and solutions, gain proficiency in real-world application use, and re-certify or earn a new VMware certification at the onsite certification exam center.

5 multicloud sessions you don’t want to miss

With hundreds of speaking sessions available throughout the show, it can be difficult to choose just a few to attend each day. I browsed this year’s session catalog and picked out the top 5 multicloud sessions I’m most excited about this year (and why you’d be crazy to skip them). They include everything from managing security and reducing costs through RI management to enterprise migration and taking advantage of VMware’s incredible MSP community.

CloudHealth at VMworld US 2019

If you’re attending VMworld 2019, we’d love to meet you! Our team will be hosting numerous workshops and speaking sessions throughout the week, covering everything from managing security in a multicloud environment and best practices for cost optimization to improving resource utilization across your cloud infrastructure.

You can find members of our team presenting on the CloudHealth Platform inside Cloud City (attendees can find Cloud City on the second floor of Moscone West from Sunday-Thursday), giving in-depth platform demonstration alongside VMware Secure State at the Solutions Exchange in the VMware Village, and in 9+ speaking sessions throughout the show (content catalog here, filter via ‘Multi-Cloud’).

Interested in giving your opinion on our platform user interface? Members of our UX team will also be onsite throughout the show looking for feedback on the CloudHealth Platform (including new features and modules not yet made generally available!).
