In 2018, AC3, an Australia-based end-to-end cloud managed services provider, acquired Bulletproof, the first company in Australia to launch VMware public cloud services, provide managed AWS services, and receive the status of AWS Premier Consulting Partner. Since the acquisition, the combined entity has been the cloud MSP of choice across industries, including financial services, healthcare, and technology providers. Today, AC3 manages the multicloud environments of over 1,000 customers around the world.

As AC3 customers began to realize the benefits of cloud computing, they relied increasingly on AC3 to help with their end-to-end cloud journey, with many customers starting on AWS and expanding to Azure or another cloud provider. Several customers ultimately required management of both their private and public cloud infrastructure.

This increased focus on multicloud drove AC3 to seek a management solution that would enable them to optimize each customer’s cloud environment, provide the visibility needed to make informed cloud cost and operations decisions on behalf of the customer, and enable each customer to easily scale based on their unique business needs.

The answer to AC3’s cloud management needs was the CloudHealth Platform, which provides organizations with the tools and visibility to easily manage costs, improve governance, automate actions, and mitigate security risks across multicloud environments. CloudHealth’s multicloud reports and custom dashboards have enhanced the transparency of AC3 cloud usage, and how this usage affects performance, scalability, and cost. The CloudHealth Platform also drills down into how each department, team, individual, or application spends and utilizes resources, while enabling cost reallocation and chargebacks as needed.

As AC3’s AWS, Azure, and Data Center management practices continue to expand, CloudHealth has simplified and optimized AC3’s multicloud management. Mostly notably, AC3 has leveraged the CloudHealth Platform for cost optimization of their Data Center customers, and utilized CloudHealth’s Health Check report, which offers consolidated data on cost history, reservations, underutilized instances, performance levels, and security considerations for customers.

One of the first partners to join the CloudHealth partner program, AC3 is a standout—recipient of the CloudHealth APAC Partner of the Year Award two years in a row, key advisor on platform growth and development, and a part of the VMware Cloud Provider Program (VCPP).
