Dan Phillips, CEO

Dan Phillips is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of CloudHealth Technologies. His background includes 25 years as an executive with four venture capital backed IT management startups. Two of these companies achieved successful initial public offerings (IPO’s) on NASDAQ and two were acquired by fortune 200 companies. The most prominent was as COO of Concord Communications which attained an $800M market cap and the most recent was as CEO of Silverback Technologies which was acquired by Dell Inc. Dan is also the founder of the UMass Boston Entrepreneurship Center and Scholarship Program.

 

 

joe_kinsellaJoe Kinsella, CTO & Founder

Joe Kinsella is the Chief Technology Officer and founder of CloudHealth Technologies. Joe has 20+ years experience delivering commercial software for both startups and large enterprises. He was previously VP of engineering at the Amazon-backed cloud archiving company Sonian, where he developed and managed large scale cloud infrastructure spanning multiple public clouds. He was also a managing director at Dell, where he led global engineering teams delivering multiple software as a service (SaaS) products. Joe was also Vice President of Engineering at SilverBack Technologies, where he helped pioneer remote management software, acquired by Dell in 2007. He is an advisor to the University of Massachusetts Boston Entrepreneur Center, and blogs at High Tech in the Hub.

Dave Eicher is the Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of CloudHealth Technologies. Dave is an experienced high tech executive with more than 25 years of diverse operational experience including finance, operations, legal, customer service, and mergers and acquisitions in both large companies and small startups. Most recently, he was Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Finance for GenArts, Inc., a visual effects software firm. Prior to that, as Vice President of Finance for Silverback Technologies (sold to Dell, Inc.), Dave also lead the G&A and operations groups as well as due diligence team for Dell acquisition. Other roles include Vice President/Corporate Controller for myteam.com (sold to Active.com) and Epicon (sold to Nortel).

Eric Shoemaker is the Vice President of World Wide Sales for CloudHealth Technologies.  Eric has lead sales and marketing efforts in various executive management positions for notable start-up’s which led to successful acquisitions including: VP Sales, Virtual Computer (acquired by Citrix Systems, Inc.) and Director of Sales, Object Design, Inc. (acquired by Progress Software Corp.)  In addition, Eric served as Director of Sales at Boston based startup Bit9, Inc. Eric holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Bryant University, R.I., and a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Josephs College, ME.

Melodye Mueller is Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at CloudHealth Technologies where she is responsible for branding and positioning the company and developing market opportunities. Melodye is a senior high tech leader with demonstrated success in building teams, products, markets and programs that result in profitable growth. Most recently she was Vice President of Marketing at NaviSite – A Time Warner Cable Company and international leader in managed cloud, hosting and application services for enterprise customers. Prior to that she was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Whaleback Systems and has held sales and marketing leadership positions at Lucent/AT&T, and Agfa.
